Meet Katie, Owner

Hi there! My Name is Katie and I am the Owner of OLK9 Grand Rapids. I’ve been with Off Leash K9 Training since 2018 and have loved every minute of it!Being a dog trainer is extremely rewarding, not only because I get to work with dogs every day but most importantly because I get to help people enjoy their dogs more! Being able to do more with your dog is what it’s all about.I live in Oxford, MI on a Hobby Farm with my husband and I also own the OLK9 locations in Detroit and Des Moines, IA.We have 5 dogs: a German Shepherd named Nova, a Malinois named Posey, a Boxer named Seager, a Pug/Dachshund named Belly and a Livestock Guardian Dog Great Pyrenees/Anatolian mix named Keeper. We own 2 horses and board some as well, and of course have some cats, goats, rabbits, and chickens. Outside of all the training and farm work, we compete in Dock Diving with Posey any chance we get!I am just so excited to bring our culture and success to GR and look forward to working with you!
